Fix A Flat On BicyclePosted by admin on August 15th, 2010
Replacing a flat inner tube is one of the most common tasks performed on a bicycle. This is conceptually easy to do, but dirty and not always fun. Of course, a sense of accomplishment – and relief! – In the end, and really very nice, but get out of here, a flat tire, must pass through the sweat and dirt, and maybe a little speech, too.
First undo the brake to give the whole wheel at a sufficient distance to remove. The front wheels are much lighter and smaller than the dirty rear wheels, but most of the apartments, usually occur in the rear wheel. When you remove the rear wheel, try to remember what the chain transfer to when you put the wheel back and chain back on the gear.
This is not critically important, but after a few seconds cadence should be changed to correct the chain mechanism anyway, but it can help sometimes to be careful, for example, it could be much more convenient to place the chain on the appropriate mechanism, but what that pedal so that you can find it.
Then remove the tire. Professional bike mechanic, as a rule, remove his or her bare hands, but others find much easier to use tire levers are designed for quick removal of tires (and replace again later). Once off the wheels actually time to remove the camera. If you plan to fix it, you need to look where the hole, and so on.
But whatever you do, do not forget to check the “gutter” wheels and tires in garbage! Naturally, the outside tires must be checked on entry and foreign objects in general. When you’re done, just reverse the procedure outlined so far, and you’re good to go – until the next inevitable apartment!
